软科世界大学学术排名 (ShanghaiRanking's Academic Ranking of World Universities，简称ARWU) 于2003年由上海交通大学世界一流大学研究中心首次发布，是世界范围内首个综合性的全球大学排名。软科世界大学学术排名是全球最具影响力和权威性的大学排名之一，在世界各地被广泛报导和大量引用，许多国家的政府和大学以ARWU为标准，制定战略目标和发展规划，采取各种举措来提升大学的国际竞争力。
关于广东以色列理工学院广东以色列理工学院是我国第一所引进以色列优质高等教育资源的具有独立法人资格的中外合作大学，由以色列理工学院和汕头大学合作举办，致力于培养具有创新能力、全球视野和人文素养的卓越工程师和科技人才，旨在建设成为一所具有国际公认高水平教育、科研和创新能力的研究型大学。广东以色列理工学院教师队伍全球招聘，60%以上教师由以色列理工学院派出。

Shanghai Ranking Consultancy officially released the 2018 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) today, ranking the world Top 500 research universities. Technion Israel Institute of Technology ranked 77th, up 16 places from last year.

Shanghai Ranking's Academic Ranking of World Universities(ARWU) was first released in 2003 by Shanghai Jiaotong University's world-class research center, which is the world's first comprehensive global university ranking. ARWU is one of the most influential and authoritative university rankings in the world and has been widely reported and quoted. Many governments and universities have adopted ARWU as the standard to formulate strategic goals and development plans, and take various measures to enhance the international competitiveness of the university.
About GTIITGTIIT is the first Chinese-foreign institute with independent legal person qualification to introduce excellent higher education resources from Israel in China. Collaborated by the Technion and STU, GTIIT is devoted to develop engineers and technological talents with innovation, global insight, and humanistic quality, with an aim to become a world-recognized high-level research-based institute in education, scientific research, and innovation.
